Excellent Product - OEM Bulbs Don't Last

After a storm destroyed 4 of the large 500W models on our house, I replaced them with this model. Install was easy. The dual lamps can be pointed in almost any direction to meet your needs. They provide a lot of light for such a small lamp. They are not an eyesore like the larger model.
The OEM bulbs only lasted 6 months, or roughly 600 hours. Some bulbs burned out. The porcelain ends of many bulbs had cracked and lost connectivity with the leaf spring contacts in the lamp. Replacement bulbs from FEIT are substantially better than the OEM bulbs. One must make sure the detents on the bulbs mate with protrusions on the leaf springs. You can insert the bulb, thinking it is installled corectly, but in realty it is not making contact. Overall, it's a good product hampered by low quality OEM bulbs.

double end lights for patio

Bought these in addition to others purchased on amazon for new patio. They are easy to install and put out a lot of light. Did not get the ones that had motion sensors because patio lights would come on too much at night.

Not Bright

I purchased this light to replace a PAR38 halogen twin spotlight. I was told that I would save energy and it would be as bright. It was not. Also, in the cold weather the T-3 150w bulbs break and they are not cheap. I would not recommend this fixture.
