Gets very hot.

Other than getting quite hot it works very well. Comes on and gets bright in under 10 seconds. I worry that the housing will melt but so far it's ok. Thank God it's an outside light - it buzzes softly.

left me in the dark

wires became disconnected to bulb base i soldered it and then found that bulb was bad intermittent operation looked perfect when it arrived but did not work maybe just one bad one in many

very bright

This light is very bright, live on an acre of land, house is approx in middle and it makes the back yard look like daylight, it even lights the neighbors property behind our house
