Screws loose

Lamp was delivered with broken harp, and the shade was 'dented' due to poor packing. So a replacement harp/shade (one piece) was ordered. After receiving the second shade, I installed it, but with a major problem.
Included were (2) 1.25 inch mounting screws, too long for holding the 0.75 inch deep face plate! It took a trip to the hardware store to get the appropriate 1.0 inch screws...in order for the tightening nuts to hold the face plate securely.

The arm was very hard to move and the base was not straight. The company was very
good about getting me a return label to return it.

These lamps are lovely and I really did want to keep them, but the installation instructions were so vague that we could not figure out how to get them installed. While the description says these are "plug-in" fixtures, the instructions indicated that they needed to be hardwired. So, we sent them back.
