Did not work for me

I wanted to easily convert two of our (way too many) recessed lights into pendants over a bar area. The other conversion kits available will not work with our remodel lights. I thought this was my answer. The nipple/post was too short for my purposes. The wires are awfully short as well. This would have worked if I could have had some leeway with the drop length of the nipple. Good idea, just not implemented as well as it could be. I ended up just buying the inexpensive screw type fixtures at Lowe's and was able to pick the shades of my choice. They do look nice, but I would have preferred to use regular light fixtures.

recessed can conversion

seems like a good idea. but it would not support the fixture, too spongy. the new fixture actually bounced up and down when attached to this device.
