Great Design but get the LED version as this gets too hot!!

We bought two of these and have to remove the one bulb ea to reduce the heat this gives off. It makes annoying cracking noises with the metals expanding. I called them to discuss but they had not heard this problem. However the good news is there is LED version which I expect would not have this amount of heat.

Light makes popping noise.

I bought these lights for the master bathroom in our newly constructed house. We like the look of them A LOT! The issue arises when you turn them on. As they heat up the fixture makes a popping and cracking sound which I can only assume is the materials expanding in the light. It isn't something that you can over look, it is extremely annoying. The sound doesn't stop until you turn the light off and even then it pops as it cools down. I would not recommend these to anyone. If anyone has found a solution to this please let me know, thank you.

Nice looking - Put off a lot of heat

Ordered 4 of these for our bathroom remodel. We are very happy with the look but I do wish we went with a fluorescent or something that does not give off as much heat. Each of these have 3 - 50W bulbs so that's a lot of heat. You can just remove one of the bulbs but then I personally didn't like the looks after that. Once LED comes up with a good bulb to replace these maybe that will solve the problem. The quality of the fixtures are great though and were easy to install.
