Defective

In the spring of 2006 I renovated my kitchen. I chose Kichler 10581 series for my under cabinet/over counter top lights. I have eight of them, five large (roughly 30 inches), three small (roughly 12 inches). In the last two years I have had to replace four lights, three large, one small. My most recent replacement failed after less than 6 months use. Not one light bulb was bad. My contractor, who recommended Kichler and advised me to contact Kichler. He told me the problem has to be the transformers.
I am really unhappy. I emailed Kicher to ask for an explanation for this abysmal performance. No one responded

these are the best under counter lights. the best.

these are great fixtures. very high quality. you do have to wire them in, i.e., not idiot proof.
i have bought them from a local supplier but they stopped carrying them. YAY to find them here.
and i just replaced my first xenon bulb in the first one i installed.
it lasted 14 years of daily use. i'm not kidding.
