Bell clip

Unfortunately when I purchased this shade, I had never heard of a clip-on attachment. This attachment limits the type of bulb you can use with the shade. I am energy-conscious and like to use CFL bulbs but I could not find one that this shade can clip on to. Also note that a 25 watt bulb is recommended and you have to use the ones with the tiny screw-in base. I picked up a 7-inch lamp shade so the shade would be proportionate and it looks really good on a shelf in my nursery.

I got 2 of these lamp shades for green frosted vintage lamps I picked up. Spent a little more than I usually do but Laura Ashley items have never let me down in the past. I can really see where the money is. The shades are a nice solid weight and design. The fabric is just beautiful. Everything is put together so well. The description online with their measurements really helped me to know I was getting the right thing and what kind of bulb I would need. I am very happy with my 'new' lamps.
