The lamp is OK as it provides moderate illumination to the work surface. The design of the lamp focuses the light rather than flooding the desk surface.

I am thrilled with my new desk lamp; total elegance, sleek and very stylish. The Halogen bulb puts out just the right amount of light; and that it can be decreased if necessary, is a total plus, very easy on the eyes; both from an aesthetic and literal view point. It will fit perfectly into any décor; and size desk, very unobtrusive and easily cleaned. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for style and great value.
