Excellent delivery and packaging by Amazon! Lights and transformer work great.The only problem arises with the stakes and the quality and workmanship of the product. The problem is with the replacement of the stakes! The Home Depot is listed as the place to acquire the stakes but Home Depot doesn't carry the product and the only place to acquire them is through Malibu direct. You will find that the freight will cost you more than the price of the stakes. The replacement stake number is 5301-9202-06.

Good Product for the Money

As background, I've used Malibu plastic accent lighting in my yard for over 20 years with generally good results - until this year when my dog decided she liked to rip the plastic lights from the ground and chew them up. Scolding her was getting me nowhere, so I decided to replace the destroyed lighting with metal lights. This Malibu set offered the best option for the money. Now that I've installed some of them (just the ones in the old set which needed to be replaced), I'm impressed by the upgrade in quality over my plastic lights - not just plastic to metal, but the base of the light where the bulb connects is better quality and should hold up even better than my earlier set. The 150 volt power pack is a nice upgrade over the 81 volt power pack in the old set. The set also includes a generous length of wiring, but you still may need more if you want to more creative than simply stringing them in a straight line. The set includes the light bulbs - 7W bulbs for the accent lights, and 50W bulbs for the two spotlights - not a small thing considering how much the spotlight bulbs cost if you buy them separately. Suggestion: Replace the two 50W bulbs with 20W. You'll still get very good lighting and save some $$$. I also replaced the 7W bulbs with 4W, which are inexpensive. Not only will you save a little on energy costs by making these two changes, but you'll also be able to add a lot more lighting later if you want, without exceeding the capacity of the power pack. This set is a really good value for the money. And my dog can't eat them!

I really love this light set . It is very sturdy and brings an elegance to the front of my house walkway. I can now see when I come home at night, It's much safer being able to see where I'm going. It aluminumates my flower beds and adds to the decor. I bought a cheap set about 3 years ago and was guaranteed for 5 years but began falling apart right away and was of no use any more. Thank You
