Nice & bright. I hope they last.

The GOOD:
No external transformer to worry about.
Mounting the mounting stubs was easy. The LED pucks easily snap onto the stubs.
The little roller on/off click switch can be located anywhere on the power cord.
The instructions clearly document which wire of the power chord is hot and which is neutral. I very much appreciate this since I hardwired the pucks into the junction box feeding my previous (now deceased) under-counter lights.
Six pucks placed 14 inches apart slightly out-shined my previous 2xF8T5 + 2xF13T5 florescent lights. The six pucks consume 8 watts of power.
50000 hours of expected use.
Ordered on Sat afternoon; arrived on Monday morning (via Ontrac).
The BAD:
120 volts everywhere. No UL seal of approval. Be careful, particularly around water.
You have to install the little roller click switch yourself if you want your pucks to be switchable. It must switch the hot wire of the power cord.
One year warranty does not exactly match the 5.7 years of advertised use.
The UGLY:
The little roller click switch is remarkably cheap - made in China for 2 cents?
My two sets of three LED pucks were clearly recycled returns from some other customers.
The cord that daisy-chains to the next puck requires a half twist so your cords are not going to lay flat!
The label on the back says "Made in China". (I have a rear shot of it under "puck4U" at tinyurl.) I was hoping for this price that I was getting high quality, long-lasting LED pucks. For now, I remain optimistic, but skeptical.

Best Undercounter Light!

Maxim's Undercounter LED are easy to install and uses a fraction of electricity. The old Fluorescent lights always hummed and burn out after a few months. But the LED Puck lights lasts for years!

Beware of the vendor

I bought these to replace expensive-to-own fluoroscent pucks that were roughly the same size. They use the exact same electrical connections so installation was very easy. I have had them less than a month but they are adequate for the job.
It it now a month later and one of the pucks has failed. I contacted the seller Wayfair who refused to take the item back (it is 10 days too late). They referred me to the manufacturer who in turn, referred me back to Wayfair ("not me, not me"). I would not recommend buying from this vendor as their customer service is lacking.
