good looking product

Usually I like to see everything first-hand, so it was a risk for me to order this wall sconce sight unseen. But I'm very happy with this choice, and it looks good on the wall. The two unexpected things (not really the fault of the product, in my opinion) are that (1) the protective coating on the brushed steel will pick up little scratches, so be a bit careful with the handling of the glass part and when cleaning the back plate, and (2) this type of up-shining wall sconce will pick up the imperfections on the surface of your wall! So we've smoothed the wall and now I'm really quite happy.

Look great, very modern appearance

My wife and I probably looked at hundreds of sconces in person and online before we settled on this one. We got them for $60 apiece or so, and for what we got, it was definitely a good price. They are pretty substantial in size, and they look great on the wall. We put three of them in the same room, put in 100 watt bulbs and wired them to a dimmer switch. They have a great ambience in the room.
They have a nice solid feel, and the glass looks great. My only complaint is that there were several small scuffs in the steel finish that were there immediately after we opened the package. The boxes were extremely well-packed, so I can't imagine the damage happened in shipping. The scuffs were pretty minor and certainly not visible from where anyone would be standing and looking at them, but they are noticeable. I would definitely buy them again.
