poorly built

This is without a doubt one of the most cheaply constructed and flimsy light fixture I have encountered. There is no way that I could have installed this fixture in good conscience. Buyer beware. Stick with the can lights.

Fine for the price.

Someone gave a poor review of a very similar version of this saying it didn't put out enough light. We found it puts out what we would have expected with a 100 watt bulb, and it's rated for 150 watts.
Another person rated it as cheap and flimsy on the Home Depot site. All it has to do is hold a light bulb in the ceiling...
The instructions are a little challenging, but all in all the installation was easy and it's clever how it can all be done from below the ceiling once you have a hole and a wire sticking down to connect it to.
