Shade is PLASTIC, NOT glass

My husband purchased a pair of these lamps to go with our new bedroom furniture. We loved the look of them, and the fact that they were a glass shade. From the photos and description, it looks like it would be leaded glass (the product description says it is glass), but when they arrived, we were very disappointed to find that the shade is made ENTIRELY of plastic. There is no glass at all on this lamp. Not just misleading in the product description, but false advertising! The lamps were sturdy and pretty to look at. They did arrive quickly, just a few days after purchase. However, there is no way we were going to pay over $200 for a PLASTIC lamp. What a jip! So they are boxed back up and ready to go back. We will purchase a pair of nice lamps we saw at Costco for fifty bucks. Don't waste your money on these lamps, unless you just really have to have some nice, expensive PLASTIC.
