Love These Classic Looking Lights!

We ordered 2 of these Trans Globe Outdoor Lights for our front porch and were pleasantly surprised at how nice they look! They are really nicely made and the price point is fantastic!
We thought that since they were inexpensive that they wouldn't be super nice but would serve our purpose. We were pleasantly wrong about that! They are super dooper nice!

I ordered two of these to replace specialty fluorescent fixtures that had stopped working.
One of these Trans Globe lanterns had the support bar lodged in such a way that it was impossible to loosen without destroying one of the two screws. Good thing I had lots of extra screws. Technically, that is not a problem with the lantern itself, but it was part of the whole process.
The instructions that came with the lantern are the typical afterthought instructions that cause more confusion than help. I ended up just following my instincts and got them installed.
The lantern itself looks very nice and appears to be well made. It is, however, a little small. You cannot use a larger spiral fluorescent bulb without the bulb sticking out of the bottom. Smaller bulbs fit well.
Overall, I am happy with my purchase. Include better instructions and make it a little bigger and then I would give 5 stars.

Love these lights

Replacing our outdoor cabin lights and these seemed to have the rustic look we wanted. We were a little unsure because they were such a low price. We thought they might be really cheap looking. They're not! They look great and will be a great addition to our place. Would recommend.
