Quality aftermarket ceiling fan light kit

I have installed over a 100 ceiling fans in my own homes as well as friends and family. Sometimes you find a great fan on sale that does not come with a light kit,yet can accept one. This was for one such occasion. I found a nice Hampton Bay ceiling fan 52 inch on clearance for $17.99. The style was such that,had we found it with light kit it was over $100. Total with this kit for my fan and light $57.99. Now for the light kit, it was an easy install with its easy instructions and quality components. The glass on the bulb covers was high quality and solid feeling. The included bulbs all worked and the fixture had a great satin finish with no defects. Once properly wired into the remote box and tested it was flawless. Light output was even and substantial and the light worked perfectly with the remote for both on and off and dimming. Never shook or rattled with the fan on high. Truly a quality aftermarket universal ceiling fan light fixture

We needed a new light for our hunter fan. This one fits perfectly and gives the amount of light we need. Love it.

Attractive and the lights each have a standard base!

This light was amazing for the price I paid. I originally bought the kit so I could just swap out the glass globes with some others I had on a fan in my kitchen, since the four replacement glasses at my local big box retailer would have cost me more than double this entire kit. We ended up installing the entire new kit on the fan because the old fan had intermediate bases and those bulbs are a pain to find around here and they cost more than standard base bulbs. The only complaint I have is that the top section that houses the wiring and connects to the fan has a 2" high collar that is just over 2" in diameter (this is cut off at the top of the picture so it looks shallow). It sticks down (away from the fan blades) much more than my old light kit did and it looks a little weird to me because this "collar" piece is narrower than any I have seen. I believe a shallower and deeper profile for this collar would have looked more aesthetically pleasing, but this opinion may not be shared by all. I would still have purchased it again knowing how it looks.
